On my wife's BMW i3, when connected to CarPlay, a WhatsApp 'popup' appears on the screen with "First Name Last Name Message'. Very useful to know. On my Macan there is no pop-up - if I happen to be on the WhatsApp screen in CarPlay then there is the a number in the top right of the icon - but that's not very convenient.
Was the BMW a quirk of implementation and this isn't available elsewhere?
