I have been using a RING dash cam for 2 years and I really like it. If you own a RING doorbell camera or stick up camera than you know how easy it is to use with the phone app. Their dash cam is easy to install and connects directly to your obd2 port for power. They only have the dash camera and no rear camera at this time which may a con for some people. It does give you motion alerts if someone walks near your vehicle and it is always recording as soon as you start your vehicle. It also has a interior camera that lets you see occupants and hear audio if you wish. See attached video review,
I like that fact that you can easily share the video clips via text or email. There are better quality and higher resolution cameras, but this camera works great if you already have a ring subscription. It cost me $60 a year.

I like my Garmin 47. The app could be better. The image quality is great. A small fender bender that took 9 months to settle is what made me install a camera. I would install the factory cam but it’s HUGE

I like the viofo A119 Mini2, haven't installed one in the 4R yet but run several in my service vans with good success. Easy install and has sentry mode.

My standalone Garmin 55 Dash Cam has worked great for almost a decade across multiple vehicles. Just plug it into the cigarette adapter, wire the cables under the trim pieces, and attach it to the top corner of the windshield with a suction cup mount (purchased separately)

The main drawback with this solution (cigarette adapter vs hardwiring) is that there is no sort of "sentry mode" while the vehicle is off. It is the quickest and easiest option, though.
