Something is wrong with them. Toyota is very good at quickly recognizing problems. They are noticing a trend in warranty claims or dealers reporting issues after their PDI and have decided to pause deliveries for inspections. I think it’s a good way of addressing issues before being sold to customers. The domestics can learn from this.

Think they will ever say what its officially for? Everyone keeps saying the chin spoiler that is falling off but who knows since Toyota wont say

just heard from my dealer that 4Runners are stuck at port. I am in the Philadelphia area and am pretty sure this is the port in Baltimore. Anyone else hear anything similar?

I Live in Southern California and my 2025 Limited IForce Max car has been sitting at the Long Beach port for 2 weeks now. My dealer just called me today and he does not know why. This just sucks. My car still has to go to the Toyota Long Beach facility to add the accessories I had requested. From that point the cars are shipped across the nation. My dealer is 30 minutes from the port.

It can indeed be very frustrating when this happens. My Trailhunter is in the same boat. It's currently sitting in MA at the warehouse having it's accessories put on. I was supposed to get it on the 18th of this month, but now they're not sure exactly when I'll get it. I did find out that one of the accessories to be installed was currently out of stock and that's why it's delayed. You potentially could be having the same issue. I guess that we will both half to hang in there. Good luck!

I believe it’s the air damn and the loud brakes on some models. I’m thinking it has more to do with that air dam though. Not sure why the hold up most people remove it anyway bc it’s ugly!

I completely agree. It’s not even worth the marginal improvement to gas mileage. Taking it off as soon as mine is delivered

My dealer called me and it has to do with the air dam. Parts are being flown in from Japan. I am guessing a new type of bolt. He said there are over 280 cars at the port and should be fixed in a few weeks. The first thing zi will be doing is to take off the air dam. Horrible design along with the rear seats not folding flat. I know you can build a platform but with a hybrid you would be losing a lot of storage space.

Did your dealer mention where they got this info? Mine doesn’t seem to have a clue.

I’ve been tracking my ORP From Japan (4/28) and it landed at Newark NJ last night (5/25) and the vessel has left so it’s unloaded. Let’s see how long now. Original ETA at dealer was 6/10 on track to be a week early before these holds. Not sure of any others who were in this delivery (Jacksonville FL/Newark)
