these threads are long but thorough and have been well received in the Taycan community - using the included EVSE w/Macan (the Porsche Universal Charger (PUC)) - but some owners have wanted options and a deeper understanding of the choices - these threads go over those choices…

short answer for North American Macan Owners - the top choices listed in random order are:

• Porsche Wall Charger Connect
• ChargePoint Flex
• WallBox Puslar plug
• Tesla Universal Wall Charger
• any enphase/clippercreek EVSE
• Autel
• your existing charger/EVSE from previous Hybrid/EV

or you can use the one that comes with the Macan supplied as included equipment - https://www.macanevowners.com/forum/threads/first-sighting-macan-evse-charger-for-north-america….17007/ - given my personal experience with Porsche EVSE's from my 2020 Taycan and 2021 Cayenne eHybrid I"m 100% biased against Porsche's charging equipment so I'm not an objective source - but the PUC that comes with the vehicle should work and there is no need to purchase an alternative - many in the Taycan community however share my opinion/experience and have moved beyond Porsche for their EV home charging equipment due to numerous issues and incompetent support - YMMV.
