Hi all, creating this thread to share my thoughts, questions, reviews, and the build.

Extremely happy that I got to pick up the 4R yesterday. Not gonna lie—after it landed at port on 3/3 and got delayed for almost a month, I was starting to lose interest. I was also a bit anxious, since this will be my first Toyota and my first overlanding vehicle. Coming from owning a 2022 BMW X3M Comp, and currently having an E46 M3 and a 2023 G80 M3 in the garage, I knew I’d be comparing power, build quality, etc.

But man, seeing the 4R at the dealership and driving it home for roughly 35 miles—this truck is an amazing vehicle. It might not have the power of my sports cars, but there’s enough power for what it is. The build quality is honestly impressive, and I love how sporty and tight the cockpit feels. On the way home, it was getting a lot of attention and thumbs up—definitely has road presence.

Advice for new and upcoming owners:
Make sure to tell your dealership not to wash the vehicle and to leave the protective covers on. Otherwise, they may end up damaging the paint.

For now, I’ll be giving it its first wash and decontamination. Then it’ll be heading out for full front PPF, including the gloss black parts. After that, the mods will start going on.

Please enjoy some crappy iPhone pics, and let me know if you guys have any questions.
