I put a $1000 deposit on the 2025 hybrid OP. I just found out it has arrived today. I am trading in my 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. I have an appointment for a door replacement in the 25th due to wife not knowing how to takea sharp turn correctly lol.

Out the door without trade in I am looking at $72k Canadian. Was wondering thoughts on MSRP. The sale is pending a test drive and trade in value. Was hoping for some bargaining tips.

I wanted the TRD pro grill and wheels, but sales rep explained Canada and Toyota US are completely different and seems Canada is stingy for customization.

I am probably getting tint, maybe the illuminated Toyota emblem as I can't get the TRD pro grille.

Bargaining tips appreciated as I have about a week before pick up.

good luck on getting a price reduction. if you back out, they will sell for MSRP to another buyer quite quickly

as for Cdn pricing. use the build tool on the Cdn website. It will give you MSRP with the options you want to add. only variance is dealer fees, which the website uses $999. some have dealer fees as low as $750 some are as high as $1,500.

if you get for anything less than MSRP, you are doing okay.

I don't plan on backing out. Seems like a fair deal. After doing the build it came to about 70.5k. I see on my bill there is also a protection package which the explained to me which adds another $3193 so $72k is looking good with protection.

Stopped by the lot omw home from work this morning and snapped some pics.

One is for the IGLA immobilizer which I want. You have to input a code to start the vehicle and has basically 100% success rate. Car thefts are real bad around Toronto so rather replace a window over replacing a whole vehicle.

The other is a rust protection plan until 2031 which I will probably opt out of. That alone is $1900.
