Anyone know how to get the head unit not to prompt me for a PIN code every time I start the car?

I assume it's because I'm not using their dumb Toyota app (installed and deleted when i discovered its not really useful), but it's somewhat irritating and I would ideally like it to stop without me having to keep the Toyota app installed on my smartphone.

Anyone know how to achieve this, or if it is possible?

What’s so cumbersome about the app? I mean, at the very least, you wouldn’t be prompted for the code ever time you take off.

I just don't think I should have to use an app for my car to be normal that's all. I don't always carry my phone with me and consequently i don't care for that dependency attached to my vehicle.

I won't install their app either. I prefer to keep walls between certain parts of my digital life. Toyota has no business in my phone.
