By owner: Got some Husky low profile vent visor rain guards put on. They're great.

Only pain point were the front window pieces. It has an extra cutout on the lip. Refer to photos. These are the outside mount visors so there shouldn't be any insertions required, however, these one need to be because of the lip.

Package came without any instructions, only a QR code. The code took you to an install video for a basic low profile mount that weren't the same form.

If anyone does get these, insert the lip into where your side mirrors are...not the frame of the window. Inserting into the window channel makes the piece too tight and your windows won't roll up because the sensors think there's a jam. Other than that little annoyance, I really like the product.

I've been keeping my eyes on these. I had a set of EGR in-channel and also AVS in-channel window visors in past vehicles and liked them a lot. I wonder how these would compare to those

I purchased the same ones earlier this month and yes, instructions are lacking and when you call customer service to make sure you are installing them correctly, they are no help as they refer you to old instructions that are not the same.

So far, I love the window vents and I think they look great on the vehicle.

I'm also familiar with AVS vent visors on previous vehicles and their ease of install...but current day options for the 4Runner are very limited to :
Weather Tech (front only)
Husky (front & Back NOT In channel)
Zekzoop (front & Back In channel prototype)

I have "Low Profile AVS Ventshades" from RealTruck on my 2024 Tundra and they don't let air exchange near as efficient as the older Ventshades that were not up against the window like these new low profiles are. I just don't see any of the "old designs" available for the 4 Runner. We are picking up our 2025 4Runner ORP tomorrow and would like to order some Ventshades but it looks like if you want front and back, Husky via Real Truck are the only ones. Am I missing something here?

KTRAN: the lip on the front vent shades don’t fit between mirror trim as a metal bulkhead is there blocking insertion…they have to go between window and rubber seal…I inserted a small flat screw driver where you indicated and can’t go any further than 1/16” until you hit the metal attaching bulkhead….???? Any chance you could take a closer look at where you inserted the tab again?
Please and Thanks
