Finally spotted other 6th gen 4Runners. You?

I actually saw a 6th gen 4Runner today. 2 of them to be exact. Before this I think I was following one a month ago but it was a dark night and couldn't see the badging on the tailgate. I stopped to fill up the Rav4 and a woman pulled up on the opposite side of the pump with a black SR5. I was expecting her to fill it up and I was going to ask her about it. But she just emptied some trash and took off.

The second one was a red one (didn't see which trim) a few minutes later at a grocery store. It was parked far from the other cars. I didn't realize it until after I parked. Since I was just popping in for something quick I figured I would look at it when leaving. Unfortunately it was gone when I came out. But I think it's a sign that they are starting to make it into the wild. I'll start keeping my eye on the local dealers. Sooner or later they will get one in that's not being held for a customer and I'll actually be able to sit in one.

I don't see them every day. I took delivery of my TRD SPORT PREMIUM on March 27 and it was early July before I saw another TRD Sport Premium. Since late March, I have seen just that one other TRD Sport Premium and either four or five SR5s, that is it here where I live.

I have seen a couple 6gen 4Runners on the road but while moving down the road. I have also been approached several times from people asking about mine when parked in a parking lot shopping. Everyone complements the car, but not me, lol lol lol.

Yea, when we first got ours, there was one other in town, but now I see a couple a day of different colors. There's a lot of interstate traffic through here between Vegas and SLC, so most of them are out of towners I bet.

outside of a dealership, I have seen two. Granted I work from home so not driving all the time, but our dealers had very little inventory on these until a month or so ago. I am awaiting my Limited Max (hopefully next week) and the first time I saw a limited, dealer or not, was last week at the mall. It was a Limited Underground (what I have reserved) so it was nice to actually see one before I buy the exact same I have coming in LOL.

I've had for about 5 months, 2.5k miles. I've seen a trailhunter, trd pro, sport P, and two sr5's. Located in Baltimore. the TH and Pro live in the immediate area to me

I've had mine for 3 months now and have not seen another on the road, yet. The dealer has 14 on the lot last weeeknd. Guess they are geting out there.

What's odd is that there are lots of Tacomas and Tundras around here. I see plenty of the new style Tacomas daily. I see lots of 5th and 4th gen 4Runners. Just no 6th gen ones. I assumed it was because of the 'hold' so maybe it'll change.

Both of the ones I saw yesterday were dirty from the usual road grime. Just my personal opinion but the black just looked too plane. The red looked nice but I've decided on a Pro (next spring) and it's not an option. I don't like the brown. Hopefully I'll see a white and underground one driving around. Nice and shiny at the dealer really doesn't give you an idea what it will look like once you own it. Black is a great color when clean.

I've seen a few mainly TRD & SR5, and another TH in white!! Not as many so far in North texas.

I have seen a couple on trips to Denver from the western side of Colorado but have now seen another heritage blue in town as the limited pkg. So far ours is the only hybrid around. Amazed that the long trips of 175 miles or more we've gotten 26 to 27 mpg in normal mode. Around town it varies from 11 to 19. Averaged 22 from Colorado to Texas and back with a lot of highway stop and go and slowing through small towns, not unhappy with that considering the drive.

Down here in GA the 5th gen is extremely popular so I expected to see a lot more of the 6th gen than I have. I still see 2nd and 3rd gen’s regularly, even a 1st gen that lives down the street from me.

Prior to getting ours a few weeks ago I only saw 1 on the road and it was months ago, but today I saw 3 others (all Sports) on a 45min drive across town. I also passed a dealership that had 5 lined up out front ranging from SR5 to Limited so it seems to be ramping up!
