Hey Folks - Just curious as to how people feel about the drivers aid tech?

For the most part/98% of the time, Toyota's safety systems are so damn good I can't stop raving about it. However, every so often I'll be driving along the highway with perfect lanes and road conditions on the left side- out of nowhere - the car will beep and say "hey you're slightly too close to the left lane" even though my hands are on the wheel and I'm just letting it do it's thing. It'll correct itself sometimes or I just get itchy and make the correction. Does this happen to anyone else?

It does seem to have a preference for exits whenever I'm on the right lane, but that's something I had a feeling would/could happen.

Yes 100% feel the same way.
Sometimes it yells at me for being too close to a line... that IT pulled me closer to! I've taken to speaking out loud to it: "Well 'you' put me there..."

I've had to consciously learn to stop fighting it; there are times where the vehicle and I disagree slightly on where the center is the lane is.

RIGHT?! Hahaha I say the same thing whenever that happens or something like "we'll you're the one driving!"

Definitely taking some getting used to with these systems but sheesh. Can't believe I've reached an age where the tech can be overwhelming now

I found that problem early on but it seems it's learned and stays in the center of the lanes now.

First time using the assist I just about freaked out how close it ran to the center line.
