Hi all!

Until lighter weight 285/70/18 tires come out it, it seems like 275/70/18 is the sweet spot and 18x8.5 wheel is the perfect size for that.

I have TRD Pro coming in soon and wanted to get a thread going for all wheels in this size for those of us so don't want to lift or do minimal work.

What are the best brands with nice offsets? Share links and photos!

What else?

Thanks,

On a Pro, you can go up to 295/70/18 and be fine without a lift. (I'm getting a lift, but they'd still fit without it).

BTW, the Pro wheels are 8.5" wide already.

There are a lot more tire options for 17" rims and that seems better off road too. Is there some reason people are not swapping to 17's?

You're correct. 17" will always be the most popular for offroaders, hence the massive difference in options vs 18" options.

In my case, I have the Pro and love the new Pro wheels so I'm sticking with them.

There are only a couple of “C” load options for 275/70/R18. Nitto, Wrangler and Toyo AT3 - EV version. Get ready for a rough ride if you switch to E load. I’m running this setup up on KO3s and the ride is sometimes miserable. But, it’s awesome off road and in wet conditions. Also keep in mind the E load tires are about 55lbs each. It’s a lot heavier. If I had it to do over, I would have searched for C Load KO2s. Just my thoughts.

I went with the Nitto Recon Grapplers in 295/70/18 which only weigh 53 lbs and are SL rated. Ride like butter.
