I am very interested in replacing the plain vent panel on my center dashboard with a Sport Chrono Clock. It doesn't have to activate with the sport chrono package (I don't have that), but I would like it to display the proper time and light up appropriately. So, I know it has 12VDC Constant Power, Ground and a LIN Connection to grab that network to adjust the time appropriately. The vendor shared the below image on where to get constant power (easy enough to do with piggybacking on the fuse that is already there and connecting to chassis ground). Challenge I have is they are suggesting removing the seat to access the center console (between the seats) for that blue connector module. That seems like a lot of risk for a connection I would guess is somewhere else on the car. I am a little nervous about tearing apart the center console to add a wire I have no idea will work (and also the risk of where to put it). The Taycan has LIN behind the Instriument Cluster (Pin 17), just curious if anyone has done this and if the Macan as the same LIN in the same place....
Thanks for the help, would be great to install, but happy to return if it isn't possible....
