My wife noticed a wet spot on the garage floor under our ORP approximately beneath the drivers seat. Upon inspection, I found a approx. 4" rubber tube with water slowly dripping out. Can't trace it so don't know where it's coming from or what it is. I'm assuming it's condensate from the AC although the AC hadn't been on for several days. Anybody know what it is?

The 2 drains I'm aware of are located under the rocker panels, outboard of the frame rails, close to the front wheel well. Should either both be AC drains or possibly one of them being from something else

Sunroof is an interesting guess, but we've had no rain and a week since last washing. I still suspect it's as nubbins said, drain from AC. We haven't had the AC on for a while, but the truck often makes cold air for a while without being told to when first started.

I have the same issue on our 25 4runner 4x4 SR5. Has nothing to do with sunroof, not sure the cause other than AC.
I have the same thing on my 2005 Platinum the thing is I don't use my AC but it out every time I stop it drips on the passenger side up by the door

Yup, I see it on mine all the time. I keep mine in my driveway so it's not an issue for me, but if I kept it in a garage I'd be pretty frustrated.

if you have the hvac set to windshield, defrost, or windshield & feet the compressor will run regardless of the a/c button setting.

this has been standard on 4R and most toyota's since at least 2009.

it turns on the a/c to dehumidfy the air for the windshield. you can hear/feel the compressor kick in if you set the airflow to windshield BUT dont turn on the a/c button.

its in the manual

Nodak,
You're making assumptions again. I do not have it set to defrost, windshield, or windshield and feet. I've learned that when I start the truck, it will make cold air without being told to unless I dial the thermostat to a temp higher than the temp in the cab. Annoying but not a big deal.

Check your app, Under Climate, you can set a Custom Climate Setting for when your car remote starts. Maybe you have it turned on at a low setting? I know mine leaves spots also, I just figured it was AC.

Apparently our AC runs in "eco" when we think it's off. I took this screenshot from a different thread but it probably explains the water spots even when you think your AC is off (it's actually not).

Thanks, I'll check on that although we haven't been remote-starting.

Glad the spots are water, not oil or transmission fluid.
