Hey everyone – looking for some insight here.
I recently purchased a brand new Toyota 4Runner, and at just 400 miles, the AC completely stopped working. I took it to the local dealership, and they told me a rock hit the condenser/radiator, causing the failure, and that this damage is not covered under warranty.
They quoted me around $3,000 for parts and labor to fix it. I’m shocked – it’s a brand new vehicle, barely driven, and I feel like this should be covered. Is it normal for something so vulnerable to fail this easily and not be covered? Has anyone else experienced this?
Really appreciate any advice
