Just posting here the TRD Pro wheels part numbers and what you need to install. You would need valve stem kits and center caps since wheels do not come with them.

The Tacoma valve stems are different part numbers but are same when visually looking at them. They work and are way cheaper than the 4runner part numbers.

Center caps from various wheels can fit depending on the look that you want. Most are also cheaper than the TRD Pro ones.

PT998-89210-F2 IS TRD Pro Caps

PT998-35240-F2 is caps from TRD off road

90942-A5010 is valve stem kits. NO SENSORS.

Thanks for posting this info all in one place. I haven't replaced the wheels on my ORP yet, but I do like the look of the TRD Pro wheel. What was the all-in price you got the wheels, caps, stems (and shipping, if applicable) for? Did you get them installed at a dealership?

One concern I have with the TRD Pro wheel is the extra 35mm (1.4") of offset compared to the standard wheel [edit: I may have this wrong. It may be 25mm (1") difference not 35mm difference], and how that affects rock chips on lower body panels. Are you planning to install mud flaps to reduce the odds of that (or maybe the factory mud flaps wouldn't extend far enough out)?

FWIW, I did come across this wheel from Fuel (called the "Tech") that looks very similar to the TRD Pro wheel:

(The part number for the 4runner is I think D67018908457)
The wheel costs more at $353 (it's 18x9, 20mm offset), but maybe the all-in price to have the wheel swap done at Discount Tire is similar or even lower if there's no shipping charge.

Cost wise its fairly cheap for the TRD Pro wheel setup. Ive seen and tried to order these wheels for like $207 a wheel and $5 for a center cap through nucar. Or similar price through other online dealerships. The problem I had was either they would not ship it to me cause I live on an island or its not in stock. I did just end up ordering it through work as I work at a dealership. But my price wasn't as good as online prices. I did save on installation as I did them myself.

The offset wise yes they do stick out more than the factory TRD Off road wheels. I don't think the factory mud guards would block everything and im not planning on putting them on due to less ground clearance. If yiu are worried about the offset and sling I would suggest the TRD optional wheels which is all black also. The offset isn't as great. There's many pics and part numbers on here if you search.

Just my opinion, but, brand new 4Runner, go with the TRD wheels. Aftermarket wheels like the Fuel shown above, they devalue the vehicle in my opinion. They look nice and if the TRD center cap were to fit, yes, go for it but with the Fuel center cap, personally I would never do that to a 4Runner, but of course, to each his own.

Please do not buy junk wheels like Fuel. Sure, they look good, but they're trash. Please don't Fuels on a Toyota.

I am waiting on my pro wheels to deliver this week. Going to replace my ORP wheels. Planning to just swap over my TPS sensors to the new wheels, but should I buy new valve stems? Or can those easily swap over I wonder?

You need new valve stems as in the part number I provided or the part number for the 25 4runner. It would be very hard to remove the existing ones without damaging the wheel or the rubber. Also the bolt for the tpms sensor I believe also has a thread lock to prevent from backing out. Its quite tough to install the new valve stems unlike traditional non tpms rubber stems so I can only imagine how hard it would be to remove safely for reuse.

Looking forward to HB with these wheels. I'm leaning strongly towards that combo over actually buying a Pro.

I recently upgraded my ORP Hybrid to the TRD Pro wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler G3 tires. I kept my ORP wheels/tires intact for resale (sold on FB Marketplace in less than 48 hours) and ordered these from Toyota for the new wheels. This Toyota part number gets you compatible stems with TPMS installed: 42607-76020. Also, the current Independence Day discount on the Toyota site makes the timing good for OEM purchases… Cheers!

Yes this is another option also to get the tpms sensor with stems attached but its more expensive and would need to program sensors to Vehicle. The sensors with stems are a big price difference when I priced them out also.

Interesting. I didn’t compare prices vs. buying stems/TPMS separately, but it was reasonably straightforward to configure the TPMS using instructions in the owner’s manual. I had the tires mounted/balanced at Discount Tire and they stated the TPMS system would initialize after a couple of days (which didn’t occur), so I took on the task myself. After following the owner’s manual instructions, it did take many more miles od driving to configure than my previous vehicles. I guess patience is indeed a virtue (along with comparing prices to save money, right?)… Cheers!

Not yet. I will when more wheels come available. Right now they are still on backorder. I ordered only 4 a while ago not thinking of the spare. Only when I installed the wheels I thought I should have ordered 1 more for the spare.

If you’re asking me: No, I did not also swap out the spare tire/wheel. The circumference (and diameter) difference between my old and new tires is only 1.8%. Also, I plan on going truly off-road somewhat rarely, and in my primary use cases I will be able to change out a flat tire and get my flat tire repaired or replaced quickly. In other members’ use cases it would make more sense to bring larger full-size spares.

Could you use the tires on the TRD Off Road (265/70R18) with the TRD Pro wheels?
