First post. Loving my new TRD ORP Hybrid. Starting to buy gear for trips down Padre Island National Seashore in Texas(PINS). Looking at getting an ARB Single Brushless motor compressor. It has standard battery clamps to connect to Battery. I know this sounds stupid but, where do I clamp them? I read on how to jump and it says to remove fuse box cover and clamp the positive to a dedicated prong in the box and clamp the negative to a bracket for the ground. Is that how to power such a compressor or is there another option?

You can put them directly (assuming portable version) on the jumper post in the engine bay and ground to any ground point in the engine bay or directly to the battery in the rear cargo area.

also, i just installed the single brushless on my TRD Pro in the engine bay and hooked up to aux 4. Install video coming very soon if you’re interested. Will post it on forum when its live on our YT channel.

I feel your pain. Seems simple, but still don't want to screw anything up with the hybrid. I'm in a similar boat, and this video helped me a lot.
