PSA: Build lock dates moved up. Check yours!

I heard a rumor and confirmed today that a number of build lock dates were moved sooner.

My 4S lock of 9/30 was moved to 9/27, and my SA didn't even know about it!

If you have an upcoming build lock date, please confirm ASAP!

My dealer has always told me to have build specs buttoned up a month before actual freeze date. There is a lot of variables involved and things can move. My 718 Spyder RS froze 3 weeks early and dates moved.

My freeze date was July 10th but my SA call me end of June to tell me that it was “better” to confirm my build some days before: he looked at their software and it was moved to July the 5th. I think (but it’s my opinion since this is my first Porsche) that it’s “normal”.

good to know. I was told my lock date was in November...But i plan to shop around on pricing before the lockout.

is this lock out date something you can track once you have the comm number?
My SA gave my the Comm number for my build, but the app/website is not accepting it

Need to ask your SA for updates.
