When you get them, you'll notice that they male connector looks different, but on the other end of the connector there is a prper Male connector. (One that fits the female connector coming out of Trailhunter)

I ordered them! It will be my first modification as well. They are definitely standard equipment on a luxury car… And very useful on those “no moonlight” nights. Thank you very much for sharing.

They are rock sliders and you cannot get your footing. There are many posts on the 4g forum about running boards. I’m waiting until I’ve gone off roading a few time before I decide. I’m leaning towards the electric, auto running boards that extend when you open the door. They have them on the new Sequoia’s.

I like them! They illuminate the door so I can get in and out of the vehicle easily. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve opened the door, in the rain, on a moonless night, and stepped into a muddy puddle while wearing my dress shoes! That dinner/play/party just doesn’t feel the same in wet, muddy shoes. For the men, that first impression with your hot date will be much better - whether she is getting in and out, or you are walking into her home with clean shoes. True story.
