So here's the thing. I'm not going to off road this truck. So is there a trim level that is lower suspension and road tires and big wheels? Old Gas Monkey Scout style...?

I'll be watching for the same thing. I'm much more drawn to modern-retro styling, physical switchgear, and overall size/stance vs. body-on-frame, harsh offroading thing. All-weather 3PMSF tires vs. all-terrain tires w/ more moderate sidewalls, etc. Scout could have significant cross-segment appeal, we'll see eventually.

No details yet BUT I am betting on a yes. The current styling mules have an off-road look but not much actual content. The interior styling in the initial release vehicles is definitely NOT utility/off road practical. The styling mule wheels seem to the same as Rivian uses so if the factory can’t provide what you need there is already an established aftermarket.

I don’t need heavy duty off road but ground clearance for winter driving (6” plus snow) and some trail/ farm field capability would be the minimum (skid plates/rocker panel protectors and minimal battery shields) would be appropriate.

Hopefully Scout will offer at least 3 levels of off-road capability (Highway/Light duty off-road and Trail basher). As the original SUV International Scout quickly offered a variety of capabilities with limited development resources.

Totally agree with this thread. I appreciate a vehicle that can handle some rough but I’m more likely and interested in using as an every day drive.

Im all about a more al a carte style of trim spec. Something more in the middle 85% daily driver/commuter but still able to tackle some off road trails, ie. Southern Utah. Scout has said they want a robust selection of off the shelf type of add-ons that will be available at launch. It is a 4x4 after all, but Scout is being marketed as an 8 day a week truck. Im excited to see what Scout will offer.

Yeah same here. I don't want/need 35s and all the off-road upgrades. Would be happy with some 32-33" trail terrain tires and minimal off-road goodies. I had a 2021 Bronco Big Bend and it was pretty stock (non-Sasquatch) and all I did was put some better tires on it. Was way more off-road ability than I ever needed.
