Seat belt alarm - disable or lower sound?

Yes I do wear my seat belts, for not every time.
With that said, Is there a way to reduce the volume or to disable the very annoying seat belt alarm?

you can disable the sound but you need either techstream or carista to access that function. its been like this since the 2010's in all toyota's

I just got a Carista from Amazon for $45 dollars. Within 10 minutes after opening it, I have successfully Disabled the seat belt chime. One draw-back with this item, I did not qualify for a free month, So I did purchase 1 month for $15.99.
Even after paying $61 , I find it well worth the price to stop that annoying sound.

I went a different route and bought these seat belt extenders which plug directly into our belt clips and it makes the vehicle think that the belt is attached. You can still use the belts normally and I've found it easier to clip them because they're easier to reach.

I was going to do something like that. But after talking to mechanics, I was told that the airbag system works differently if the seatbelts are used or unused. Don't try to trick the system.

I only drive without the seatbelt when driving on the property or on slow mountain roads when hunting,etc. The chime becomes very annoying. Makes the airbags a non issue.

Same here. But I agree that seatbelt chime is extremely annoying

I've removed all the seatbelt chimes in all of my cars for years with Carista. Best $50 I've ever spent. Can't speak more highly of it. Easy to use. Worth the investment.

the warning chime at least on my 14 4R will mute after 30 secs of beeping but still flash the warning light in the MID dash
