Radio and screen won't turn on

I turned on my car and the screen and radio did not turn on. The radio button did not work, and the screen was blank. I had to turn off the car and turn it back on twice before it turned back on. Anyone else happen to have this issue? Does anyone know the cause and how to prevent this from happening again?
