Speedometer question

Hey 4Runner Family,

I was wondering if anybody has seen this on their new 4Runner. When I get ready to start my 4Runner, the mileage pops up higher than my actual mileage. I thought it was just a glitch? Then I thought this might show me what’s left before my maintenance for my 10k. But when I did the math, it didn’t add up. I have 1483k on my mileage, and when I get ready to start it, it pops up to 8586. So the total is 10068. Just wondering if anybody knows or has seen this problem, if it is a problem.

That’s probably the miles left until the next service. You might see a wrench icon next to it.

I noticed it this morning when started my 4Runner. It showed 9921 miles for a couple of seconds then it went back to the actual miles of 921.
