What's that sound coming from the engine compartment on a Trailhunter when you open the driver's side door in the morning (or when it's been sitting for a while)?

Having been a mechanic in some way, shape, or form for nearly all my life. Yes, pretty much the majority. I hear a cacophony of sounds when this thing is running. The exhaust is what I hear first. Im kind of surprised how loud it is standing beside it. The rest sounds like some kind of factory going on. Right now, I am putting my faith in Toyota, that it’s doing what it’s suppose to be doing. Yes, it does sound unnerving.

Fuel pump?
Maybe but you'd think that wouldn't spin up until you pressed the power button.
I know it's not the parking brake.

Our hybrid Limited does it too. Do the gas ones do it or just hybrids? I’m guessing it runs through a series of checks before giving you the “Ready” light on the dash?
