I have been trying to figure it out if the back seats will fold flat and how big a space would open up. Dimensions or photographs would be helpful. I cannot seem to find out by googling. Anyone know?

There is a thread in this forum from back in November “Cargo area capacity and dimensions of Scout Traveler” under General Scour EV Topics. Didn’t have any firm details but made some estimates.

You're right - I don't think that's a known... (but *really* hoping that they do)!
This would be a huge miss for Scout if not and may cause me to rethink my order. I will be downsizing from a Tahoe Z71 that currently folds the seats flat so am a bit spoiled. I can’t even count the amount of times I have needed to fold down the third row…

Yeah, flat fold is a requirement for me, unless they go back to the Scout II bench that flipped up against the front buckets.

Cyure and her husband took some excellent photos at one of the recent Scout events and shared them in this thread in the official forum.

There are some measurement photos as well as close up detailed shots of the interiors. It does appear the rear seats are designed to fold flat and there is some type of track system that is integrated into the load floor and on the back of the seats.

Thanks for this post... I rarely look at the other "real" forum because I can't post or comment because my account is still under review (since November)!

Wow that is weird. Have you contacted support about it?

One guy has mentioned beef between the two forums and people "spying" whatever that is supposed to mean. Its all publicly accessible so I dont understand the expectation of privacy or have a clue as to what they are talking about but they made it seem like they try to keep people from this forum from coming over there.

I have contacted them by email and attempted by phone - the support company is a very busy Canadian company operating several hundred forums and their only comment back to me is that it looked like I had been banned due to content!

Pretty confused by that since I can't post or react to other posts until approved and the only other forum I'm on which is not managed by them is the F150 forum (so I can fix or repair daily)... :)

Oh - and I'm obviously on this forum as well...

Response to the original question, About the same as a model Y which is deceptive since the way it looks makes you think it is a lot bigger.

The interior width from the pictures on the other forum kind of surprised me. Exterior width w/o mirrors is 6'8", so the interior width of 3'6" seems odd. Add to it, it has a center console width that is in line with full sized trucks and SUV's. 3' 6" is very close to the tailgate width of a Jeep wrangler.

I would need to remeasure, but I think the sleeping platform I made for my LJ, is a full 4' wide (it is wider than the bottom part of the rear door and does extend a bit over the wheel wells) - and it is above and over the wheel wells. I pull the rear seats when I use it - but with the rear seats pulled, and the front seats forward, it becomes almost a 6' sleeping platform (just big enough for me). I am really hoping the Terra will be at least as deep with the rear seats down.
---
I have not seen any posting of the depth of the cargo area - and I question if the current concept vehicles have fold down rear seats yet.
