Tip: YouTube: another day another discovery!

Just downloaded the YouTube app to the PCM from the PCM “AppStore and I can now watch videos whilst the car is stationery and being charged!

They just need to upload Netflix, BBC iPlayer, and the other TV catch up channels ?

I also downloaded Spotify and it works great!

I have no idea how to do this, but will play with and figure it out. Assuming it will work on the passenger's display, too. Do you know?

I sold my EV, but I guess it works on the passenger display too. Very straightforward! Just make sure you download YouTube to your PCM… and from there you just use it normally.

Big downside is that it does work also on the passenger display but the audio cannot be split to headphones so the whole car can enjoy the audio from the passenger screen.
Oh and just be carefull, all apps use the built-in data plan unless you have set a WiFi hotspot to be used (from your Phone or house or whatever)

In the Netherlands I was also able to stream HBO/Disney but Netflix does not have a native app (yet) and is blocking the Vivaldi browser.

I Would be verry happy if it becomes possible to pair a Bluetooth headphone to the passenger screen and maybe a game controller as well. Would make the experience a lot better for the kids.

Is the Spotify app better than using Spotify via CarPlay?

The difference is that now Spotify is also available to someone driving your car without having to connect/sync their Phone. And it uses the build-in data plan. Other than that, no real (dis)advantages.
