I am ordering an Everest Green Trailhunter direct from Toyota. What OEM accessories or PPOs are worth it for those who got the Trailhunter?
Seems like the Trailhunter has almost everything out of the box, anything you all added that seemed worth it? I ask because some of the accessories offered seem redundant or the Trailhunter already has it. For example, Tow hooks? It has those already in the front, no?

Thanks

Here's what I got on mine:
Dashcam
All weather cargo mat (comes with all weather for passenger seats)
Cargo lamps (D pillar lamps. it comes standard with tailgate lamps that are optional in other trims)
Front tow hook upgrade (Beefier red ones that replace the thinner black ones)
Side storage LED light (certainly a splurge)

I'd go with the dash cam, D pillar lamps, All Weather Cargo Tray (basically an all-weather mat for your cargo area, if you plan on not ordering aftermarket), and mud guards (if you don't intend to upgrade your tire size as you'd have to remove the fronts for most larger tires to clear fully anyways). My Trailhunter came with every option they could choose (bought it from dealer/wasn't an order I built). I'd order the floor mats aftermarket (Lasfit has a pretty good set with drastically more coverage for reasonably cheap/$200ish depending on discounts). Styling options if you have a specific color you'd like for your grill inserts, or want the black lettering on your tailgate, i'd probably choose a factory option if they have something you like.
Things I would definitely skip:
- Retractable Cargo Cover (useless to me personally if you plan on tinting windows most people won't see in anyways, and it just eats up space/adds an obstacle to get around if you're trying to utilize your entire cargo area or lay the seats down).
- Vehicle Protection Package (i'd ceramic coat it after if you want to go that route)
- Connectivity Package (I'd use charging cables I have already if needed or buy 1-3 for less than the $75)
- Rear Cargo Organizer (that thing eats up so much space in the back, unless you routinely have a bunch of tiny things floating around your cargo area and want to toss them in there instead, i'd pass)

it depends on the person.

personally all the above is pointless in my eyes except maybe the rear cargo area lights.

dont need the oem dashcam, i can find better viofo for cheaper and more features and better camera specs (4k/60fps vs the oem specs which i think is only what 1920x1080 @ 30 fps)

floor mats, aftermarket are better and coverage is better than oem

tow hooks? meh, if you need fancy red hooks yeah, but the oem ones ive never had any issues way back to my 1998 4R.

cables? cheaper and better options/lengths aftermarket

it really depends on each person.

On my Trailhunter, I ordered the following.

I know there are cheaper and better after market items, but I just did not want to hassle with it.

Mudguards
All-Weather Cargo Mat
Rear Cargo Lamp
Body Side Molding
Owner's Portfolio PIO $0.00
Door Edge Guards
Ball Mount
Bronze Heritage Grill Letter Overlay
Integrated Dashcam
Door Panel Scuff Protectors (Protective Cover for Door Interior)
Paint Protection Film: Hood, Fenders, Mirror Backs and Door Cups
Toyota Logo Bronze Badge Overlay
Cargo Cover
