Unable to Start Macan4.

We had driven 30 miles from home and parked at a restaurant. When we returned to the car, it wouldn't start. The display on the screen was "Charging Not Possible. Visit Workshop". The available miles on the battery was 210 miles which quickly dropped to 0 miles available. We waited 5 minutes with the same problem. We called Porsche Emergency Services to be towed. While waiting 30 minutes, we tried to start the car and it did. A Porsche technician told us to bring the car in for software updates. Anyone else had this happen?
