oh wow that is rough. my salesman also had no clue what was happening. The only way I kept track of what was going on was by adding the vin to the toyota app and seeing if there were alerts. You can also add it to your toyota.com account and look for vehicle updates. I dont think the port updates anyone (or at least they dont want the customers to know).

Yeah I am not impressed at all with this process so far. My dealership has been clueless and haven’t been trying to get me a comparable 4Runner either. They’ve just sad to wait and see how this all plays out, while the bath of 4Runners built after mine are already arriving without issues and are on their way to the dealership. What a joke.
