Never do business with with any dealer that says deposit is non refundable
i dont have an issue with non refundable deposit (it is refundable after 4 months though if they cant fulfill my request).

i only do allocation reserve requests and since i am actually going to buy the vehicle and the reserve request ensure i only get what i want in options since they let me decide what boxes to check during allocation reserve screen selection. i dont mind putting the $1,000 down. and its really hard to pass up guaranteed invoice pricing if i go allocation reserve request route.

saving roughly 5k off msrp is hard to pass up in this day in age with a signed paperwork saying they guarantee invoice.

my 66k plat (with options) should invoice around 60.1 k going by kbb website.

Wow, with that delay I would receive delivery in August, maybe September. I wonder when 2026 models will hit the lots. I can wait another few months if this is the case.
toyota changes over model years around aug/sep. had to switch our allocation reserve request from a 22 MY to a 23 MY on our tundra since we ordered in may and we busted the MY change over.

Just seen there's a recall on the 24'-25' Tundra's, something about the rear lights getting water in them causing them to short out...

IS QC a thing of the past?

I heard that this only effected the Tundra's and not the 4Runner.

For the record - My TRD ORP is in Texas and heading to OK, it is also on hold. It is NOT just the east coast as some are suggesting. It is across the board for vehicles that are currently on the ground in the states as far as I can surmise.
I’m in Oregon and my Sport Premium is on QC hold at the port in Portland.

It most likely due to missing items. Lack of JBL flex speakers would cause a QC hold. I worked unloading cars off railcars so i understand what happens. Every car is inspected once its in its loadline or parking spot, then allowed to be shipped. Stolen items would keep cars for a long time until a replacement was setup. As I dont see the speakers on the secondary I think that the speaker shortage is most likely. Plus it seems the QC hold is only affecting JBL flex vehicles, and dealers being told to remove the chin spoiler.

The dealers are not being told to remove the chin spoilers, not sure where you got that info, I was just at the dealer to have bolts replaced they said you should keep the spoiler on for warranty

Likely this, likely that, possibly this, possibly that, maybe this, maybe that. Speculation. At this point we will probably never know what the reason for the QC hold was or is. Air Dam, brakes, speaker, tariffs and the list goes on and on. At some point we will get our whips and live happily ever after. Until the next purchase...

Has anyone had their allocation there one day and then gone the next?
Mine was taken off the google doc allocation list and off the dealer website last week. Possibly because its considered sold already. Still waiting on mine but salesman said mine should be one of the first ones off the hold since mine was literally waiting to come to the dealer when it got placed on hold.

But, but... I have nothing better to do than speculate and guess. I don't have my truck to mod and keep me busy. ;)

I feel for you.
I've had to put a long road trip on hold that I'm going to use the truck for.
Same here on both fronts, I have a trip planned, that I keep pushing back, (and will have to add in a break in period) and some parts, waiting to be installed. (Nothing. Big yet, but still gathering dust... :( )

Dealer weekly communication still says 6/10
