What is "Quality Hold" Status

I dont have skin in the game as I have not ordered a vehicle. I do know that most people have zero patience though. Lol.
It really doesnt matter what the hold up is. People will jump ship. They are going to start losing sales.

Maybe they are going through everything as far as the chin spoiler and brakes and steering column since those seem to be the 3 main issues reported so far. Unless there will be a recall coming out soon or something hopefully its just the 30 days. I've been checking the NHTSA recall site and nothing so far under my vin for recalls so that's good

Okay. Movement on the spreadsheet went from Factory to Port to now Port to Dealer / I guess that's self explanatory / Hopefully in a good way? / Maybe things are moving in the right direction for us...

Mine hasn't updated since 5/16.....sad

Mine isn't on the spreadsheet, but from what I understand, my dealer only gets updates on status on Fridays. Since I was notified on Thursday 5/15 that it was on hold, it would suggest that it went on QC hold between 5/02-09. The last update prior to the hold was "Awaiting Transport to the Railhead with ETA of 5/25-7/01".

We'll see if there is a good update this week.

So, not an attempt to spread fake or false information, as I believe we have read more than our fair share of that. I was going to call my dealer today in regards to the new info on the spreadsheet, but he reached out to me and this is the information that was provided. BTW it appears that my salesman is wanting this vehicle to arrive at the dealership as much as me if not more than me (for obvious commission based, lively hood reasons). He explained that the vehicle is now earmarked to leave the port and head to the dealership, but no timeline. It seems like these dealerships and salesmen, to quote a line from the great movie Departed "their like mushrooms feed em **** and keep them in the dark". Anyway his philosophy was to under promise and over deliver. I'm giving them a A+++ for that. Anyway the uncertainty still festers.

Land Cruiser, Honda, Jeep, etc. I am not talking only about Toyota fans. Just people in general who want/need a new vehicle that had an order or were considering the 4runner.

Do you happen to know what Port your 4R is at? Mine has been in Newark, since 5/28... wondering if its the same
