What is "Quality Hold" Status

Just heard from the dealer (Ardmore Toyota, in PA - has been stuck at the Philly port since 5/15) that my ORP w/ iForce Max moved to “F status” and has a date of 6/6 -6/12 now. Hoping it doesn’t change and we actually get it next week!

Do you know what "F" Status means? Finalize?

I received a text from my salesman. F indeed means the vehicle is complete and has moved to the load line for transit. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but my 4-Runner has been in this load line awaiting a transport vehicle for days now. The reason for the update from the dealer was to let me know mine is earmark to be sent to the dealer on or before 06/27. We have gone from 06/04 to 06/19 to 06/20 to now 06/27. Based on this pattern mine will be delivered by either the sasquatch or the abdominal snowman riding a unicorn really soon...

Its Official : QC534 - 4Runner Front Spoiler - Parts shipment plan created. Hand-carried parts have arrived at Newark and Portland. The next air shipment of parts is expected to arrive on 6/6. Repairs will be ongoing through mid-June

Got a call from my dealership 5min ago. QC534, front air dam replacement. Mine is now showing F status and 42 days from date at port, 04/28, and they are hopeful it’s here in a few weeks…

A= allocation (it's being made)
F= freight (it's being transported, either by ship, rail or car carrier. Also having it's PIO installed)

Thank you! Luckily, the Philly port is close to the dealer and not a huge port so I’m optimistic!

Yea but that doesn't really check out....many more vehicles are on hold than just premium trims and trailhunters w/ the compressor.

Further - why wouldn't they just send them to the dealers to install? Especially if it was a JBL speaker.

Logistics? Shipping to a network of dealerships seems more complex than shipping volume to ports.
