Well mine went off the sold spreadsheet back to the allocation one. Status changed from factory to port to port to dealer. The dates are still blank though so I guess that's at least something. Salesman when he text me yesterday said they should start coming in next week

My ORP is at port and was scheduled for two weeks but now at a month. Can confirm that dealership said it was the dam issue. The lack of communication is making me consider my deposit. Perhaps it's fate that me and my 24 Pro stay together.

The lack of clear meaningful dealer communications is a real problem!

Sounds like it is the dealer that some of you have been dealing with. I communicate regularly with my customers. In this particular case the bigger issue has been the manufacturer not providing info in a timely manner. Keep in mind that you are unhappy you have the option of doing business with the dealership of Your choosing...

all of that is very true, however, my dealership has been in communication as much as possible. However, Toyota has not been giving much info to the dealers until now, so the real issue was the lack of communication from Toyota to the dealerships. Nearly three weeks of an “unknown” hold without communication is unacceptable for such a large company.

From what I can see Toyota has two vehicle tracking systems, but it seems that neither of them gets updated often enough, or goes into enough granularity of what the hold up is. In my view the dealer shouldn't half to bother the R.M. in order to get the information that the customer is looking for.

mine is still on the hold and saying 42 days from 05/15 so mine will be a while. Sounds like most are delayed 3-4 weeks from initial delivery date. That will just delay all future deliveries as well until they are caught up.

I get being frustrated, but it really seems like being in the age of social media and constant instant information people probably don’t realize this may be somewhat normal, in the past we didn’t know it was happening and just patiently waited.

Spreadsheet says its at the dealership already but dealer is saying its not there yet.
The spreadsheet seems to be off. I would give it a couple days and it should update. I’ve been noticing updates Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.

A= allocation (it's being made)
F= freight (it's being transported, either by ship, rail or car carrier. Also having it's PIO installed)
G= ground (It's at the dealer)
f = freight means railcar

transport via truck carrier doesnt have a code and is not part of the "F" code sine truck carriers are 3rd party contractors that load from regional ports (rail carrier ports)
