What is "Quality Hold" Status

So yours arrived at port in June and is now on a 70 day hold?

Yeah arrived at Port 06/02. Previous estimate was 06/02-06/16. I'm not really sure whether when the 70 day status started, there was no history trace when it changed from "Under Study - 30 day delay" to "Quality Confirmation Activity - 70 day delay". I texted my dealer today to get an update but this is all the info they have for now.

Most manufacturers with such a trivial issue would continue to ship and deliver cars and deal with issues as customers report them. Because of Toyota's commitment to quality, they stop everything until they can fix the issue properly. While it's super inconvenient to people waiting for new cars it shows Toyota's commitment to quality.

My dealership said the 42 day holds were seemingly all changed to 70 day holds this past Wednesday

I'm still waiting on mine... (Apparently waiting on a air compressor to be installed at the port)

Hopefully it gets installed soon! Mine was stuck at the port for the same reason. They had no idea when they would be getting them in. All of a sudden it was on a truck.

I can safely say it was 100% worth the wait.

I was just informed that my orp is now at the railhead in Denver waiting to be trucked down to Colorado Springs. It’s so close lol

I have a trail hunter sitting at port. Arrived at port 6/2 and nothing since. Dealer sent a screenshot today with no ETA but said it’s not on hold. I asked about the air compressor shortage and the speaker shortage and they didn’t know anything about it.

My ORP is in Houston waiting on a truck to south Oklahoma. Never more than 3 hrs away from me and will literally drive past my home on its way to OK. Just needs a truck to load and go.

My dates are still blank…but it seems the spreadsheet has a delay.

Mine got to the Long Beach port on the 11th and my dealer said it’ll be delivered between the 13th-16th

Got a message from dealer… hold went from 42 to 56 days :/

So mine shows it's not on hold but all of the dates have disappeared. Anyone else had this experience? For reference its a Trail Hunter so the air dam issue shouldn't affect it

I did. Also a Trailhunter. Hit the port 4/29. Was suppose to be in on may 21,22,23, then the disappeared. GM said corporate said it was missing the compressor and was on back order. They didn’t know when it was coming in. Date of 6/17 appeared on like 6/4ish. Moved up to 6/16 on the 8ish. Got a call it was on a truck on 6/11. Arrived and picked up on 6/12. Live in the north east.

They marked it sold around the first of June and it moved from the allocated spreadsheet. I havent been able to track dates and the dealer isn't very informative. It's still showing a window of 6/15-7/20 on the dealers website. At this point I would be happy with a 3 week delay. Dealer said it could be months, it's out of their hands.
