Went a little overboard this weekend picking up parts for our incoming 2025 4Runner ORP Hybrid. The last thing I need to lock in is the tires. I was originally planning to go with 275/70/18 Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws, but they only come in an E load rating—which feels like overkill since this will be my wife’s daily driver.
Now I’m torn between sticking with the factory size and going with the SL-rated 265/70/18 Wildpeaks, or stepping up to the Nitto Terra Grappler G3s in 275/70/18, which do come in an SL rating. These will be mounted on TRD Pro wheels (+20mm offset), so I also want to make sure the 275s don’t stick out past the fenders.
Any advice or photos from people running similar setups would be much appreciated. Thanks!
