Was planning on upgrading my tires, but was wondering about a few things;

1. What are you doing with the factory take off tires after you upgrade? Sell them on Craigslist/ebay/FB Marketplace? How much luck have you had with this?
2. Did you guys use the TPMS sensors that came with the OEM tires in your new ones or go aftermarket?

Yes, i`ve sold the wheels/ tires on craigslist with good success many times. Always keep the TPMS sensors , and sometimes the lug nuts . Stay away from aftermarket TPMS Sensors

Ah ok good to know. Did you replace the sensors when you sold them or just the tires/wheels?

I’ve listed my Sport wheels and tires on several sites like FB, CL, the 6g forum. No luck so far. I reused the factory TPMS and bought new valve stems from the dealer who I bought my wheels from.
These Sport wheels just aren’t drawing any interest.

This is my worry...and I have an SR5 to boot. I saw a listing on ebay selling them as full-sized spares...maybe you could try that route? Or does the sport premium come with a full sized spare already?

Interested in what you are fitting to the SR5 and what you hope to achieve.
A bit more ground clearance, decent performance bump in wet conditions and pure aesthetics 😶.

Trying to do a Wescott lift and tack on some 285/70/R17 Falken WP AT4s.

I think the SR5 wheels should draw more interest. My opinion.

I sold my take-offs on FB marketplace. The size is unusual, but a contractor bought them for a work truck. So if you’re patient and willing to sell for a very low price ($250 for all 4), they’ll sell eventually. I gave the convenience spare away.

Reused stock sensors

If the price is 250 for four SR5 wheels and tires, I would think anyone would by them

Discount Tire will give you credit (75-100) per tire if you leave the dealership and drive directly to their store for new tires.

Good info for anyone who hasn’t picked up their 4Runner yet

I sell my OEM tires immediately on Facebook for $200. They are manufacturer specific for good gas mileage and ride quality and won't last two years.
