Zekzoop Window Visor Review

I was given the Zekzoop window visors to try out, and I have to say — I’m impressed. Installation was very straightforward and self-explanatory. The visors matched up perfectly with the window trim, and the entire install took me only about ten minutes.

The kit came with everything needed, including four alcohol/primer pads to clean the window trim and a plastic trim tool that made the process even smoother. Make sure to use the provided tools for the best results.

If you’re looking for an easy-to-install, well-fitting set of window visors, I’d definitely recommend giving @Zekzoop a try.

Hi

I'm curious about this product & I'd appreciate your honest opinion as a trial tester.

I like the look installed & the function the visors perform but I'm a bit concerned about the visors causing potential damage to tinted glass & creating stress on the electric window motors if these are installed in the window channels.

It appears in your photos that you do not have window tint installed on the front windows & I'm not sure about your rear windows because everyone gets the factory dyed privacy glass. Of course window tint is a film installed to the inside surface of the glass which can be damaged or the edges peeled.

Because there is an object of some thickness adhered & secured within the window channels, there is slightly less travel for the window before the automatic power window motors disengage while the window is going up. I'm curious to know if the top edges of the glass & the electric motor could become overly stressed & damaged because of the visors being installed since the windows apparently weren't designed to operate with in-channel visors installed.

❔ In your use if the window visors, do you feel that they would cause damage to film tinted windows?

❔ Are you able to notice any stress or abnormal operation or sounds of the windows such as stress on the glass and/or the electric motors with the visors installed?

Thanks in advance for your reply & insight!

From my experience so far, the visors haven’t caused any issues with the window operation. I’ve had visors in the past that would get stuck or prevent the window from closing properly, but these go up and down smoothly without obstruction. The only part I was initially concerned about was the two small metal clips that slide between the visor and the window channel—mainly whether they might scratch the tint. However, after closely inspecting the glass, I haven’t noticed any scratches, lines, or signs of damage. So as of now, I don’t see any reason to believe they would harm the tint.

Not at all. The windows operate exactly the same as before—no added noise, hesitation, or strain on the glass or motors. Everything feels normal and smooth. Hope this helps!

Thanks again for your reply & for sharing your experience. I'm strongly considering a set of in-channel visors but I've never had any on my previous vehicles. Your insight is appreciated. 🤝
