I didn’t option it on my 4 either and am happy with the base sound. My dealer said it can be added later, but am not sure about that.

I have this Thule set and it works fine and is easy to install. I already had the cross bar so it was just a matter of ordering new feet for the Macan. I also have the Thule 3 bike tow hitch cycle carrier and it's easy to install and seems very solid.

I have them and am very happy with the quality and feel. No off-gassing issue at all.

My guess is no. I have Thule bars and had to order new feet specifically made for the Macan EV.
