Thanks - but I do that every time it happens.
I also suspect this is all that the dealer did when they had the car for an entire day, although they say they did a ‘full reset‘ - wherever that is.
Either way, neither worked as the issue continues to reoccur.
...and I had just started to calm down after my latest rant at the dealership ! Agreed, totally unacceptable and I am convinced they are embarrassed and simply do not know what to do next with these issues. I'm going to another dealership locally to see what they have to say.
Well, it continues to happen several times per week and my local dealer continues to push me out by months rather than days before they can fit me in to look at it again. I am convinced they do not know how to even investigate this issue and are embarrassed to admit it. I have asked for the...
Yep - not sure where the issue lies either but I have reverted to letting the car schedule the charging at roughly the times when Octopus rates are lowest. I have disabled Octopus and Easee intelligence and just let the car draw the power between those times.
I have noticed that, if I say...
Well, my car spent the day with the Porsche dealership on Tuesday. They said they reset the system (whatever that means) and cleared all errors.
This morning, I returned to the vehicle on a hotel car park and the passenger window was half open again. I called the dealership who said their next...
Mine is now booked in at the Porsche dealership next week to review. I'll update on here with the findings - although its an intermittent fault so may take a few weeks for confidence to be fully restored if they think they have fixed it.
In a recent 'Masterclass' session at the same...
i returned to my car last night after several hours visiting a relative in hospital to fnd the window ½ way down again on the hospital car park. This is nt at all good and definitely not an area of Manchester where you want to leave a car unsecure. Still no new from the dealership.
I called my dealer after this happened to me for the 4th time, but they could not fit me in for several weeks. They suggested I call Porsche Assistance. In the UK this is subcontracted to the AA. They arrived at my house within 1 hour of the call (impressive), spent a while talking to their...
I have had the same issue 4 times now. Alarmingly I tend to discover the window has dropped when I return to it after some time away. I have ‘re-trained’ the window on what closed should look like on every occasion but it continues to misbehave on the one window (passenger front).
I called my...
Another random issue occured this week with the 4S.
The car thought someone had changed the tyre and wanted me to tell it what type had been fitted.
No change had actually occurred but I had to tell it I had fitted the same 22” tyre that had been on the car since I took delivery.
hmmm… just had my nearside/passenger front window open halfway again when I returned to the car. Its the 4th time now so will report to dealer. Each time I reset it following the usual routine but it keeps dropping, with no pattern as to when. This is a real security concern.
