Ok... here's the update and its good news. The Porsche Assist engineer (actually an AA recovery person here in the UK) visited my house to look at it. His face dropped when he saw it was an EV and he started to mumble about how difficult it will be to lift the car and get it onto a transporter...

I like the logic, thank you. The Porsche recovery engineer should be here in the next hour so I will leave him to investigate but also float your idea as a suggestion.

Thanks - but I do that every time it happens. I also suspect this is all that the dealer did when they had the car for an entire day, although they say they did a ‘full reset‘ - wherever that is. Either way, neither worked as the issue continues to reoccur.
