my thoughts are a product of previous purchases where I bought new cars at a great discount as the model was about to be upgraded. False saving though as when I came to part ex the dealer inevitably said ā¦.. if only it was the updated version it would be worth more !
I think Iād pay the Ā£ 2.50 and stay warm at midnight ! I can only think Porsche wants to put 25% minimum charge in just in case the car is going to stay connected, but not charged for a long time.
What I donāt get, is why owners think that because an upgraded and more expensive model has a particular functionality that this should be available to all owners. When I ordered, I didnāt see anything about a future digital key being available at no cost.
The Good To Know site confirms that when you plug in a Macan with optimum charging selected, it will take it to 25% and only then revert to a departure time. The problem for you is that you need optimised charging to take advantage of cheap rate tariff.
As you can only get 35kw on a cheap rate...
After the update it must reset the āuserā data as if itās a brand new car with no driving history. I would bet that the range will diminish very soon / after a few typical drives. Iām sure Porsche / dealer would have said if the update truely increased the range by more than 10%.
Iām sure the locals would have preferred the US base to remain - it houses asylum seekers now. They spend less locally than the US contingent when they were there !
Iām not sure that is much different to Innodrive. Good To Know describes it as assisted driving. I think youāre confusing Lane Keep Assist and Active Lane Keeping. Innodrive allows hands off as it uses Active Lane Keeping But Lane Keep Assists just intervenes if you drift out of the lane.

I have nothing but praise for Colchester. Everyone there is very helpful and courteous. James sold me the car and Josie in service both provide excellent service. Unfortunately, too far away from Herts.
As proof that Colchester has a well earned great reputation - recently James May bought his...
My 2019 BMW only cut out the automatic function restart in stop start traffic. I never received a ādistraction warningā, which was why the Lexus system was so annoying. I had a 2021 Range Rover after the BMW and that didnāt have anything, but I always assumed that was because you were always...
Not sure in the US, but certainly the distraction monitor in the Lexus wasnāt linked to autonomous driving. As I said, the 2019 BMW one was linked to that but I think in Europe itās on with or without the autonomous and that was why it was such a pain. Hopefully, Porsche will allow more latitude...
Years ago Merc had driver āfatigueā warnings - that was allegedly based on time driven / sudden small movements of the steering etc. The icon was a coffee cup and an invite for the Sat nav to take you to an outlet for a break.
My BMW then had a ābumpā which would monitor your eyes but only when...
