Strange - I sent an email expressing surprise and asking if they could fit it whilst the car is with them for the range issue. They responded saying that they had checked on the system and found that it shouldnāt require replacing and they would get their Centre's Porsche Pro's to reach out to...
Iāve just received a message in the App saying the cabin filter needs replacing. A bit surprised as the car is only 1 year old - is this normal and has anyone had a replacement fitted at a dealers
Simple question to the salesman - if he is right about 100% why does the My Porsche suggest you select optimised charging which it to 80%. If thinking has changed they would change the limit imposed by āoptimisedā charging.
Your range before the update looks amazing 520 km / 80% = 650 km at 100% = 390 miles or over 4 miles / kw. Whereas now 440 km / 80% = 550 km at 100% = 330 miles or 3.5 miles / kw Which is still pretty good.
That said, there is another thread about your issue. My car is going in next Tuesday...
I use Innodrive in town driving. The stop / go is much better than in my previous Range Rover - the Macan will drive away after a much longer stop whereas the RR wouldnāt automatically move after about 5 seconds. I think the only change to Innodrive is the lane change assist. The predicted...
When the clocks changed previously in the UK the server did take a day or two to sort out the correct time. There was a thread on it as it was fairly widespread in the UK. In my case it took 3 days and then righted itself.
I read that BMW introduced FoD as they realised a lot of their cars were ordered by companies and leasing companies. The fleet managers tend not to order what they perceive to be expensive options which donāt do much on the residuals, especially as they tend to resell to auctions.

I think that selling a premium car with so called ACC which does not have start / stop adaptability etc is bordering on mis-selling. Then to not make the āoptionā available on a say Ā£ 60k+ car so to push you into a higher grade is definitely sharp practise.
Without going down the Chinese car...
I wouldnāt hold the hazard light button in for more than 3 seconds - itās a function to brake the car to a stop in case the driver has an āemergencyā aka a heart attack. Thatās why the passenger can operate it and the button is where the passenger can easily reach ...
As this issue wasnāt being experienced until fairly recently I wonder if it as a result of the update (my thought) or the age of the battery. My car is booked in for 3 days mid-month and I hope they sort that and the random age Issue.
I asked why 3 days and they say that it will need that to...
I didnāt understand most of it but I believe the reason the Macan ICE was withdrawn in Europe was because its cybersecurity wasnāt strong enough whereas the EVās is a different system and so the cybersecurity is stronger.
I said its not a recall as they are Safety Recalls - in the UK there is only one Safety Recall and that effected just 18 cars with an Airbag issue - https://www.check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk/recall-type/vehicle/make/PORSCHE/model/Macan%20Electric/year/2025/recalls
Good luck with the...
In the UK those āissuesā are not a recall - since the software upgrade I have noticed no improvements but now have the ābattery balancing issueā and random range showing.
If you want a tracker fitted Porsche (UK) will say using a non-Porsche (aka Vodafone) tracker your warranty MAY be void for electrical issues. I didnāt want to risk that, so went with a dealer fitted Vodafone. My insurer (Admiral) didnāt make it mandatory but I went with one anyway as I have had...
