Looks like neoprene to me, which would be way better than cloth base seats.
You must really like swamp-ass! Either that, or you live in the Arctic Circle where it never gets warm. :p During my first summer in AZ, my neoprene seat covers went BUH-BYE!

I also started a thread about this. Depending on the model and region, the soft-tex seating will be different in your 4runner. I've seen and felt both. The ones in the Sport Premium displayed on the Toyota website are, I guess, the digital black camo and feel really soft and breathable. Not like neoprene at all. I dislike leather, or leather feeling alternatives, as I lived in the Texas sun and heat for over a decade
There are no regional differences coming from Japan.

Different trims have different colors. For instance, you get the mineral color Softex with yellow stitching on the Trailhunter. The Sport Premium gets a dark gray.

But the different distributors and their region do not get custom colors from Japan.

2025 Toyota 4runner Are these cloth seats or Softex seats? {filename}

If you look closely you can see the perforated holes in the seat and also the interior ‘Trailhunter’ badging in the middle left. Totally different feeling soft-Tex material, besides the color being different. So show me an image of the perforated holes on ANY of the ones with the black, or what you call gray, soft-Tex interiors please
Are you stoned or what?

there is cloth, SofTex leather and leather

the softex leather is more durable long term than the leather with less maintenance.

if you can get SofTex vs leather, i would go with SofTex

Key Features and Benefits:
  • Mimics Leather:
SofTex is designed to look and feel like genuine leather, including the grain and sheen.

    • Durability and Resistance:
It's highly resistant to stains, scratches, and fading.
    • Easy Cleaning:
SofTex is relatively easy to clean with a damp cloth or an alcohol-based cleaner.
    • Lightweight:
SofTex is about half the weight of conventional leather, which can contribute to fuel efficiency.
    • Heat-Shedding:
SofTex is less likely to burn the user than leather and may stay cooler in the sun.
    • Environmentally Friendly:
The production process generates fewer emissions and doesn't involve animal products.
    • No Special Maintenance:
Unlike leather, SofTex doesn't require regular conditioning or special care.
