I haven’t seen this issue, but have noticed that depending on my viewing angle, the HUD display will appear to fade out. You can try setting the angle so the HUD is displayed a little higher. (In my case, I sit up in the sit a little higher).
If your viewing angle did not change it is probably...
Agreed! Definitely looking for a 4K dashcam that works with the prewire. I know there are 4K dashcams out there, but not going to pay a second time to wire and QHD is not acceptable either.
I just took a 500 mile trip and had a whopping charge by EA ($1.50/kWh) when my car wasn’t recognized by the charger and I opted to pay. There was a guy before me using a NACs to CCS adapter on his Tesla (probably unrelated?) This was particularly questionable behavior because there were about...
No mention meaning they are not switching to NACS yet? Or is it just a missing detail? I suspect the former, but weren’t we also supposed to have NACS adapter support by now?
@LivingTheDream
I downloaded the latest version of the app. The Apple Watch complication selections for status and charge seem to be removed at least for the time being
Yes. When I took delivery there was no issue. It worsened over time.
It is worth checking with your dealer. I know how annoying it can get. I eventually had both and opening and closing issue.
I had multiple intermittent issues with my tailgate that required dealer attention. There is a fix for tailgate issues and mine is working reliably now, but it required a new part and recalibration to get there for me.
I’ve been charging locally at EA (while it’s free) while primarily charging at home. I bought the Macan as a roadtrip car and successfully road tripped it after several EA charging experiences.
I would not recommend a first ever road trip charge to be under stressful conditions. It is not...
If this feature comes to the Macan and doesn’t require different hardware, we could get it. However, no guarantee. I bought my Macan hoping that it would show up prior to release, but knowing the business, I should have considered it too drastic a change to appear between announcement and...
From a road trip charging standpoint, I have to agree.
We have a Solterra (Subaru’s equivalent to the BZ4X) that we bought two years prior to the Macan. From a handling standpoint and around town driving, it’s a fine EV. It also has a fantastic AWD system. Unless they significantly up their...
My original dealership had enough buyers for the Macan Electric that they couldn’t get me an allocation, so I considered an ICE Macan (only very briefly). Luckily there was another dealership in town with an allocation. I’ve been very happy working with them. I was given an ICE Macan as a...
Thanks for this very useful post. I had a similar experience with fast charging at a Ford charging station with over 120 battery temperature and trusted the car with some reservation.
Many of us primarily charge at level 2. So an occasional high temp charge is probably not a major issue. I...
I have seen this error only once. The message center gave additional information regarding pre-climate. I use that feature rarely now because I’ve seen other errors when trying to use it as well.
At the risk of telling you something you already know, look for the comment bubble icon in the PCM...
For me, it took a month to get accustomed to the two left stalks and using the driver assistance features, but it was worth it!
I drive two different EVs fairly regularly and the Macan is the most natural one, It definitely handles exactly as expected.
I leave the mild regen on, but this is...
Definitely looking forward to the SOC complication, but having the same experience with blank values.
Was funny how the write up for the new features seemed to be in future tense. Not ready for prime time yet. Should not have been released.
Speaking of software, my recall appointment for the...
The only time I saw this was driving through Indiana. I thought there was a problem until I realized that two cities we drove through in Indiana were actually on different time zones: Central and Eastern. They were less than 1/2 hour apart with us staying in one and sightseeing in the other...
Maybe for an extra screen or special function? However, the PCM, center screen and HUD are plenty for me to keep situationally aware.
I recently started using “Weather on the Way” which is great when venturing into stormy weather and making in route changes. It is available through the Apple...
Apple says 13 automotive brands will support car keys. Porsche was one of the newer entries listed in the article. I personally heard this in the keynote, but offer corroboration here https://www.macrumors.com/2025/06/09/more-automakers-to-offer-iphone-car-keys
