No, they're not. Tesla was asked to recall them. Tesla already is replacing the daughterboard with the eMMU chipset which is faulty. It's under warranty, if the car has done not more than 100.000mls. It hardly has to do with "safety", more like "inconvenience" if you ask me...- Dee
