Here is what I wrote on September 1, 2024. I hope you find it helpful. A few tweaks will be necessary:

In case TYD is not available for you, I have some notes in an earlier post about what I did when TYD wasn't initially available. You may have some experience with tracking your 2024, but if not I will be glad to look up that post.
Personally, I'm a big fan of the Head Up Display. This is an expensive option, but it is also my number one favorite feature. You spend much more time looking at the inside your car than outside.
Bose has been good enough for me, but this really depends on how important music is to you (and...
I specified the pre-wire, but have been waiting for a 4K product from Porsche before taking the leap. There are better products available out there including the sponsored content. Just can't bring myself to waste the pre-wire spend.
Probably will re-evaluate at the end of year 2. I hadn't...
Went to my dealer to get a low tire pressure warning resolved (it was on my way home anyway). They told me I’m due for another software update in January. The September update fixed most of my annoyances. I haven’t seen any major lock and walk issues since.
Only annoyance was the HUD not...
We’re you considered parked in a charging space Or is this an error?
I got charged for time when figuring out a charging door jam so they definitely can determine when charging spaces are occupied, plugged in or not.
Yep. I ordered mine the same day I got the email which was 5 weeks ago. Also sent an email yesterday to PCNA. Will update this post if I get a different response.
This was my first with a driver assistance stalk. All others, including our Solterra use the steering wheel. It took me several weeks to adjust, but now switching between them is fine. It is much like going between a mouse and touchscreen.
I’ve seen a variety of different warnings like this. I would say this happens maybe two times a month. I’ve recently had the update to fix the camera recall and so far no issues, but not enough time to really say for sure.
If the issues are persistent however, the dealer should definitely be...
Good to know. I had an instance since where it didn’t jam because the flap was seen. I’m thinking maybe the check isn’t made when you move the car for some reason. Strange…
Standard operation of the charging flap for DC fast charging is to fold it down and directly connect a charging cable. When the fast charging cable is disconnected, the flap snaps back into the closed position. No worries. That is how it worked for probably 30 or more fast charges.
On my most...
The quickest way to access the ”Goodbye Screen” is by turning the car off briefly with the power button. You can also open the charge ports from the Vehicle->(gear icon)->Hood, Tailgate and Charging Ports. You will find the charge ports listed there along with the ability to open them.
I also...
Just got back from my latest 500 mile trip. This time I tried setting the charging destinations manually. Problem was that they conflicted with the charging settings of having 20% charge at destination. Therefore the charging planner discarded my intended destinations and replaced them with...
Yours is an amazing build with practically everything anyone could want. This demonstrates that personal taste is highly individualized as my list is somewhat different. I’m also fortunate to have almost nothing that I regret after having my car almost a year now. For example I thought the air...
There are a lot of good reasons to use the charging planner including preconditioning and working well with the HUD (If you have it). But having extra capacity (such as 20%) at an intermediate charging stop and being skeptical of some of the recommendations is good practice. This is especially...
