When I configured my Macan 4EV, I added the setup for dash cam for an additional cost. I was under the impression that it would be aftermarket later. I've yet to add the dash cam and not quite sure how to go about it. My granddaughter was just assaulted, and injured, in a road rage incident, so...

I would say, do not miss any recalls, schedule it immediately. I got my recall two days after someone ran into the rear of my beautiful new Macan 4 EV (his liability not mine because there was a witness on my behalf). Before impact, there were no warnings and none of the sensors activated etc...

Do we know when the software update is available? How can we get notifications from Porsche app that an update is available or do we need to ask the dealer or just watch the forum news?

my recall was the rear view display camera, though the dealer mentioned there may be one more related... they want to keep it for two days for recall software updates. Unfortunate we can't do OTA, why not?

Got my recall notice. My El Paso dealer says the software update will take a day or two which is hard to believe. Having it done next week, will let you know. (Not sure about needing a new camera thread that I read here.)

yes, and it varies. I can get 380 miles at full charge and then out of the driveway a mile or two, it drops 30 miles. However, it gets better with more mileage on the battery. I noticed a big improvement once I got to about 3,000 miles.
