I noticed that too, I believe the GTS has improved battery cooling being better suited to track driving.
What this does mean though is that VR28.13 is not that big an update and there will be more to come with MY26 rollout.
I've not had the update yet but something we've all been crying for was shown off today in an Autogefuhl video with the GTS model in Dubai.
Max DC charging power in PCM & cluster display (along with a slightly updated layout)
Correct colour & model of car shown in displays! (Actually, it's...
Happens all the time for me such that I only use one user profile for both keys now. It's a lottery as to which user profile is loaded when unlocking with either key - I now just press the seat memory button before entering the car. Reported to porsche dealer but get a shrug and hope that an...
Better than the iX as it has more air cushions, 10 I think? vs just 3 in the iX. Not as good as iD7 as they also have 2 air cushions in the seat base to massage your peaches.
It is underwhelming compared to chinese cars with the rotating ball type of massage (e.g. Polestar 3, EX90) which are...
Is the thinking here that ignoring it could cause issues further down the line?
If the screw that caused the puncture is removed it would probably leak, so should be addressed sooner rather than later.
Prime candidate for a plug!
Had a screw in my rear tyre for no idea how long and the porsche centre found it when I went in for a laundry list of other issues. Porsche suggest I replace both rears for £700. Bridgestone Potenza at 5k miles with 4mm tread remaining.
Long story short if it's not on the shoulder, plug that...
Further to the park assist convo:
There is another material difference between the options - PX6 from the 2025 model was just "Surround view" whereas PX7 for 2026 is now "3D Surround view" bundled with the additional trained parking & reverse assist, now it's just like a VW!
I can't think why...
Thanks, yes I've tried all sorts of combinations of AC on/off, changing the fan speed, compartment door open/closed.
I will get the dealer to invetigate when the car goes in winter time for some other issues.
Since owning the car I have never seen any benefit from the supposed charger pad cooling - the phone overheats while projecting android auto onto both centre & dash screens, and then the charge rate reduces and so you actually get a net loss from using the wireless charger.
I've never been able...
I experience the same thing when joining UK dual carriageways, 60 shown despite it being (/) i.e. 70mph. My steering wheel shortcut button is set to disable the speed chime!
According to dealers the word is there is a large Innodrive update on the way, but "with no time scale on when this could...
Sorry, boot is an English term clearly! As you open the 'luggage compartment' on the left side pull the whole recessed trim piece out that holds the 12V outlet and the fuse box is underneath:
I've not dared pull fuse 8 yet, but it appears it would disable the HV battery as it has an emergency...
Not seeing the video?
I also find accessing the various views quite complicated and unintuitive, often can never find the surround view when I need it after pressing every button on the screen!
Trying to clean up the pile! A 4W load would be 96Wh/day.
In the testing I did the battery was dropping to 11.8V after 1 day, 11.8V is approx 30% SOC for a 12V battery, 12.8 is 100%. 11.8V is the cutoff for the hardwire kit I have (Viofo HK4). However as I say its been recording continuously...
I will update the thread once I can get some more pictures in the daylight to do it justice! The only ACC fuse slots I found were in the frunk fuse box, and I couldn't see how to run a fuse tap from there to the interior without removing the whole frunk unfortunately.
I shamefully used a wire...
Jesus Christ! this thread is a vortex of assumptions and mis-information
@JonoNZ We do here, it's a regular-sized AGM battery:
https://www.macanevowners.com/forum/threads/porsche-tech-claiming-the-car-is-shit.17598/post-266902
@DHS That's for the Taycan, Macan is not at all that complicated...
Thanks for the above fuse panel location! I managed to find it although its sadly not useful for fuse taps due to being in a sealed box and I cant see how you would run a wire from the front compartment to the interior?
As I see it a quick summary of the available fuse boxes below, note I have...
