Mine also disconnects without warning.
It did so just today on a fast dual carriageway. In fact it always disconnects on this road in the same place so I was expecting it. After a couple of hundred metres it reconnects and all is well.
I don't have too much trouble with the principle that it...
Yes, I have this exact problem of the car losing a little under 1% per day of not being used. On a recent holiday it was left for 14 days and lost 13% (68% -> 55%) and just this last week I last used the car 5 days ago and today it had lost 6%.
This loss of around 1% a day has been pretty...
No it's not normal and there should obviously be a wiper provided.
My rear wiper blade actually fell off the first time I washed it as it clearly hadn't been seated correctly when built. Simple enough to reattach though and no problems since.
You might be partially right and I've seen the SoC increase from 59% to 63% over 3 or 4 days.
But almost always the changes are downwards and by about 1% a day or a little less. A recent 14 day holiday had the SoC drop from 68 to 53%.
I find it hard to believe rebalancing has anything but a...
So its Tuesday and just been out in the car (since Friday). When I got in, the SoC had dropped to 31%, down from 34% on Friday & still at that on Sunday.
Bonkers.
1) Yes
2) Not particularly close
3) Yes - tried with and without, no difference
It's definitely not the key being close and communicating with the car and keeping it awake.
That's the way it's supposed to work. My wifes EV did that after 6 weeks but it's not a Porsche. Her car also lost nothing during our recent 2 week holiday whereas the Porsche lost 13%.
Mine uses 0.5% to 1% daily - but oddly not all of the time.
Recently left mine in a car park for 14 days at 68% whilst on holiday and on return the battery was 55%.
When on the driveway and not used, it similarly seems to go down around 0.5% to 1% a day..
However, this isn't consistent as a few weeks ago it was on the driveway for 5 days and went from...
Mine did this starting a few days after taking delivery and lasting for two or three days before stopping and has never returned. Suspect it's nothing you need worry about unless it's still doing it in couple of weeks.
I'd agree the Porsche Design clock looks great. I couldn't justify the extra £800 or so to get it so I just have the standard chrono package with the seconds only clock hand.
When people ask why my clock only has a seconds hand and not hours and minutes, I simply tell them that Porsche has an...
Mine was built in the last week of March, traveled to Emden less than a week later, waited for a ship for 3 or 4 days, arrived in the UK two days later, was received at the dealer on the 17th April and delivered to me on the 29th April (could have been an earlier delivery but there were...
In July my car was on the driveway for 10 days and went from 60 to 51% SoC
Then was parked up for 14 days in August and went from 68 to 55% SoC
Any time I leave it for a day or two it is always 1 or 2% lower
So it does look like it consumes about 1% (or very slightly under) a day while parked...
As Porsche Digital Key is a chargeable option for MY26 it seems extremely unlikely it'll be available to us MY24/25 owners unless Porsche add some sort of Feature on Demand capability to allow us to buy it. There's no indication of that yet but you never know. It would indeed be very nice though.
I've just installed my Home Assistant and am getting to grips with integrating with the Solar Inverter, batteries and Car Charger.
For some reason, it never occurred to me that there would be a Porsche integration so many thanks for your post and best wishes setting up your charging...
