Diess is a valuable property. If he feels hard done by he could jump ship for big bucks. Unless he has a non compete or tied up by whatever employment/compensation package he has.
This is the guy who brought Volkswagen/Porsche into the electric future. Is this a justified action?

I think it may have more to do with the current dealer model. With the movement to all EV's and their low maintenance requirements with the resulting reduced needs for service calls, and the huge overhead of the current dealer model, something has to give.
Curious about this. All things being equal, would you pay a premium price for an electric Macan over what is available now? And if you would pay a premium why?
This will be interesting when actually introduced. The Taycan had no direct competition, but the electric Macan will be competing against a really good gas powered car. I guess whether it is accepted will be down to price and the specs vs the old Macan.
