Do you know about this useful little hook behind the B pillar? Sometimes, it's the little things that count. I'm pretty sure many cars have this but never found a good use for this until I had to find a place to keep my Porsche cap ? from getting squished in the console cubbie. PS. It stays...
Do you see any embedded heater lines in the window? I mean any visible difference at an angle or in bright sunlight? I opted out of it for fear of seeing some weird reflection or visual lines. This was one of those options that I think I would have to actually physically see and try before...
The ACC takes care of stop and go traffic to modulate the speed. You don’t need one peddle driving for that (assuming you have cars in front of you which would be the case in a traffic jam as you describe). It is actually easier to drive in stop and go traffic without one peddle driving. In...
This is my carbon fibre steering wheel. Ambient lighting set to beige and standard interior chalk-beige (called limestone beige in some countries). If you look closely, you can see a subtle beige hew reflecting off of the carbon fiber. Looks way better in person as the 3D effect is not...
I have the carbon fibre steering wheel, but just went with the standard trim. I don’t think it would clash however I did discover if you select the Yellow theme which actually looks like the limestone beige colour it reflects off of the silver, and suddenly poof you have a limestone beige...
This and innodrive should be ideally made available through an Over The Air update. Easy money for them if they did but in the grand scheme of things I am not holding my breath ?
Yes unless
I suppose if you pay for full leather (even on the vents) you could minimize it but I have not been too disappointed without it. Agree though less plastic would be better ?
So for a family with young kids I could see why some features might be appealing (except for the small boot space). For that matter the Cadillac EV or EQS are comparable as they do a nice job with that part. However, I agree that for a driver there is not much that I like about this layout and...
Are you saying this based on a driving experience or a car show review/viewing? I doubt that any of these cars match the Porsche on driving dynamics. I watched the available reviews of the Huawei 7 and 9 and while the interior looks more premium than a Tesla they still stick the touch screen...
Gratz on your new Macan!. I love how Porsche gives so many options for making it your own.
I do agree that they could use an additional hotter level for the steering wheel heat, but the level they have right now is fine in the moderate climate I live in (Vancouver Island). I always found...
I would love to see a fully electric 911. I hope they don’t make it because I would have to sell my house to order it and it’s too small to live in ?
It should be interesting to hear more about the RWD one when more are on the road. By the way, I found this cool database of all cars, including range, efficiency, etc...
Hum so far the math is consistent with mine. 13% drop 93% to 80% reduces range from 532 to 457 +/- 5 km (so kinda close). I am keeping track of actual mileage to compare for fun. What is your consumption in kWh/ 100 km? Seems like it’s about the same temperature in Belgium and BC Canada...
lol..well it’s 12 C in my garage outside temp at 10 C. Pretty warm/ moderate here most of the time. Consumption is showing 22.5 kWh per hundred kilometres but it has been as low as 19 kWh/100 km and sitting at 19 - 20 most of the time. ( I am not really a lead foot)
I pulled this out another post because it deals with range. Specifically the range the car is telling you. My car is telling me I have 532 km (330 miles) at 93%. I know there has been discussions about mileage, accuracy during a burning in period and also, of course, other factors like...
